In 1995, MMG personnel participated in the New Orleans Brownfields Consortium. Dr. Lo, Dr. Morgan and Mr. Blazek helped develop the procedures for ranking potential sites and aided in recommending which facilities should be considered for the City’s Brownfields Program. Dr. Morgan was on site when USEPA completed the initial Phase II ESAs for the New Orleans pilot program and received acknowledgement from Mr. Stan Hitt, the USEPA Region 6 Brownfields Coordinator.
